Reporting bugs and requesting features
Every page of Neural Studio has a Send feedback button: in the user menu (bottom of the sidebar) and in the runtime bar at the top of a notebook. When a runtime fails to start, the failure banner also offers Report this problem, and if a page crashes outright the error screen does too. Reports go straight to the team; there is no third-party widget and nothing leaves the app except what the dialog shows you.
Report a bug
Give it a title, say what happened, and (optionally) tell us how much it is blocking you. You can attach up to three screenshots (PNG, JPEG or WebP, 5 MB each) by dropping, pasting or choosing them. Check screenshots for keys or private data first; they are stored with the report and shown to the team.
Suggest an idea
One box: What were you trying to do? Describe the task or the problem, not just the feature you have in mind. That is what lets us find the best fix, which is sometimes not the one anyone first imagined.
What we attach for you
Open Technical details we'll send in the dialog to see exactly what a report carries. It is always the same shape: the app build, the page path, your browser and screen, the current workspace id, the runtime's state (kernel status, provisioning phase, the provider/GPU/region you picked, the last failure), and a short in-memory log of recent failed requests and page errors. It never includes notebook contents, file names, cell outputs or the names of your secrets.
If your text looks like it contains a credential (an API key, a token, a
KEY=value line), the dialog warns you before sending, and the server removes
anything credential-shaped from the stored report regardless; you will see
"We removed N item(s) that looked like credentials" if it did. If one was real,
rotate it anyway.
Following a report
My reports (user menu) lists everything you have sent with its status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | It is in the queue. |
| Under review | Someone has looked at it. |
| Planned / In progress | It is on the list, or being worked on. |
| Fixed / Shipped | The fix or the feature is live. |
| Not planned | We decided not to do it; the note says why. |
| Merged with another report | The same thing was reported before; follow that one. |
You can add a follow-up comment at any time, including after a report is closed: "still broken" is always allowed and always read.
Limits
To keep the channel usable for everyone there is a per-account ceiling on how many reports and uploads you can send per hour and per day. If you hit it, the dialog says so; your draft is kept.
